If you’re cooking for yourself while staying in Leipzig, or need to pick up some vegan supplies, there are some wonderful vegan shops in the city.

Biomare is one of our favourites in the Leipzig region, and it’s found in three locations across the city. Biomare has large supermarkets which have a range of vegan, organic and fair-trade products. There’s a particularly impressive range of seasonal fruits and vegetables from local organic farmers. The many vegan products to be found in Biomare include soy milk, spreads for bread and even a vegan chocolate ice cream. Vegan products are clearly labelled, making shopping super-easy here.
