The Leipzig Tourist Service (LTS) e. V. is the sole owner of Leipzig Tourismus und Marketing (LTM) GmbH, the destination management organization of the city of Leipzig. Its members, consisting of representatives from the hotel, catering, culture and business sectors, discuss the marketing plan as well as the economic plan the GmbH and discuss current topics, projects and developments.

In addition to participating in marketing planning, all members have the opportunity to actively participate in marketing measures. This includes, for example, social media measures, print products or participation in trade fairs. Members of the LTS e. V. receive 25% discount on the cooperation offers.

Always up to date

  • Auf dem LinkedIn profile "Leipzig Tourism and Marketing GmbH (LEIPZIG REGION)" we report on our current projects and news about tourism in the LEIPZIG REGION.

  • Also in our monthly Partner newsletter we keep you up to date with industry news.

  • At the tourism breakfast We regularly discuss current topics. The high-caliber panel provides exciting insights into the industry. Networking is of course not neglected.

  • The Tourism Network Saxony As a B2B network for tourism players and partners in Saxony, it brings together news, industry information and knowledge.

Our story

The LTS e. V. is the sole owner of LTM GmbH.

The board of the association, consisting of Mayor Burkhard Jung, three other mayors of the city of Leipzig and managing directors from the hotel, catering, culture and business sectors, discusses and decides on the marketing plan and the business plan of LTM GmbH in its annual meeting.

The plans are also discussed at the general meeting, to which all members are invited every year.

LTM GmbH takes over operational activities

At the beginning of 2008, all of the association's operational activities were transferred to the GmbH. The former Marketing Leipzig GmbH was renamed Leipzig Tourismus und Marketing (LTM) GmbH. This structure still exists today.

Acquisition of Marketing Leipzig GmbH by LTS eV

LTS e. V. acquires Marketing Leipzig GmbH. Both organizations will initially continue their operational activities as before.

In the same year, Volker Bremer took over the management of the association and GmbH.

renaming

The Leipzig Tourist Association e. V. is renamed Leipzig Tourist Service (LTS) e. V. by resolution of the Board of Directors and the General Meeting.

Tourist Association becomes the official tourism organization

The Leipzig Tourist Association is taking over the tourism-related tasks as the official tourism organization of the city of Leipzig. Previously, the former Tourist and Convention Office of the City of Leipzig was responsible for this.

The member discounts cannot be combined with one another.

Quantity discounts:

  • From 4.000 € total price (net, after member discount): 15 % 

  • From 2.500 € total price (net, after member discount): 10 %

  • From 1.000 € total price (net, after member discount): 5 %
