To make your stay in Leipzig as pleasant and effective as possible, we are happy to support you in the preparation, implementation and follow-up of your research work. If you are dependent on local transport for your research, we will provide you with a LEIPZIG CARD free of charge on request. Please send us a copy of your press pass.

On special occasions, we take part in thematic press trips to Leipzig organized by our partners and organize individual program components as well as guided tours that provide plenty of material for editorial publications. We would be happy to send you an overview of the most current Leipzig topics as a suggestion. If you are planning an editorial article on one of these topics, we would be happy to provide you with more detailed information.

You do not need a special filming permit in public spaces (streets, squares, parks, etc.). In special cases, you should always ask the owner.
 

For municipal buildings and facilities such as schools, daycare centers, youth clubs, citizen offices, etc., please send your request for filming permission to the Communications Department of the City of Leipzig: kommunikation@leipzig.dePlease include the following information:

• short content of the shoot
• Period
• interview requests

The Office for Economic Development of the City of Leipzig offers a comprehensive service for film and television productions and is happy to assist in obtaining the necessary permits.
