Today, long-distance buses connect many of Germany's important cities. Leipzig too can be reached comfortably and cheaply by bus.

The main long-distance bus stop is located on Goethestraße 11, facing the eastern side of the central station. Some long-distance buses serve the Leipzig Trade Fair and the Leipzig/Halle airport. The easiest way to book tickets is online from the appropriate company.

Tip: with many companies, the earlier you book a trip, the cheaper the price. So plan in advance and compare the different companies' prices.
