Parking in Leipzig

Parking in the city

Leipzig is growing – as is the number of car parks, luckily.

To find a place to park on a street in the city centre is a real stroke of luck. Finding a place to park in a central car park, however, requires a little less luck.

There are several car parks in the centre of Leipzig which are linked to the parking information system.

Tip: Find an overview of all car parks in Leipzig's City Centre and those close to the centre on the theme map and in the transport information system.

Park & Ride

The ideal connection between cars and public transport.

A total of six Park & Ride car parks can be found in Leipzig. Spread across the city, located on important access routes, and directly connected to Leipzig's much-expanded transport network.

Four of these are located in the West of Leipzig, one in the North, and another car park in the South East.

The best part: all Park & Ride car parks are open 24/7 and free.

Camper van sites

Leipzig makes camper van owners' hearts beat faster!

With ten parking and camping spaces near the city centre, you are only a short distance from the action, and are also well-supplied with energy and water.

Alternatively, you can park your mobile home in any parking space outside of the city centre.

Important: other "parkers" must not be compromised.

Arriving at the Red Bull Arena

When an RB Leipzig match is on at the Red Bull arena, even the parking spaces around the city centre are in scarce supply.

To ensure you arrive at the stadium relaxed and on time for kick-off, it is advisable to use the Park & Ride options in combination with the bus and train.

Leipzig's transport companies add additional lines when matches are on.

Detailed information on arriving at and departing from the stadium is only a click away.
