Nominations must recognise achievements that, with exceptional creativity and strong commitment, have contributed to revitalising tourism in Leipzig and have received significant media attention. This includes both the holistic achievements of a company or institution and the activities of an individual. The nominations must meet the high standards of harmonious coexistence within Leipzig’s growing urban community and must not contradict the ethical and social principles of LTM GmbH. - Call for ApplicationsLTM GmbH has sent the call for applications (eligibility criteria) for the "Leipzig Tourism Award" to the participants of the Tourism Breakfast via email. Suggestions for the "Leipzig Tourism Award 2025" can be submitted in writing until October 24, 2025 to: Leipzig Tourismus und Marketing GmbH Augustusplatz 9, 04109 Leipzig - Selection of Award WinnersThe proposals submitted by the deadline will be presented to a jury made up of the members of the Marketing Advisory Board of Leipzig Tourism and Marketing GmbH. This board consists of knowledgeable decision-makers from the fields of culture, tourism, business, science and representatives of the city council factions. The jury selects the winners of the "Leipzig Tourism Award 2025" based on a scoring system. This ensures a qualitative assessment of the proposals. The decision is final and not subject to legal appeal. The award ceremony will take place at the end of November 2025 as a closed event.
