In the six exciting adventure worlds, 650 different types of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish that you can discover, observe and search for together with your kids. Or even better: that you can with trained zoo guides at the 60-minute holiday tour Here you can find out about the latest highlights and experience the variety of Zoo Leipzig with a small group of max. 15 people.

If that is not enough for you, you can also take part in the program "Zoo Holiday Kids" which is mainly aimed at Children from 10 to 14 years From October 06th to 10th, you can get to know the zoo up close for 5 days, discover the diversity of the animal world and learn more about species protection. Fun and education are the main focus!

Allen Halloween fans among you we lay the South American Halloween spectacle  Day of the Animal Dead From 31 October to 02 November you can look forward to fascinating walk-acts,acolorful stage program with music and dance, pumpkin hunt including competition, delicious food and many other exciting activities. The magical light and the spooky creatures will put you in ecstasy, especially in the evening.

Our advice: Anyone who comes to the zoo dressed up particularly well on Halloween day will even get free entry (only on October 31.10st for children up to 16 years).

Puzzle hunt through the Panometer

"Where is Claude?" - this question will be asked in October in Panometer Leipzig This is something we hear frequently. Throughout the month, a large-scale puzzle hunt where - how could it be otherwise - the artist of the current 360° panorama exhibition is sought. Various puzzle envelopes lead the participating children, families and the young at heart to the hiding place of Claude Monet, where ultimately even great prices wait. Registration is not required. The puzzle envelopes can be purchased for 1 Euro (plus admission price) at the Panometer ticket office throughout October.

Experienced interactive exhibitions for children and families on two levels in the UNIKATUM Children's Museum in Leipzig. To make your kids even more colourful and creative this autumn, the fall break courses im Museum of Printing from 07 to 17 October great Workshops around that Print offered.

The program kicks off on October 07 with the "Intaglio Printing" workshop. Here, image ideas are etched into CDs, Terapacks, or zinc plates using a needle, inked, and printed using an old press. With specially created, colorful works of art to take home, what more could a child want?

Other workshops include creating prints from autumn leaves or spooky Halloween greeting cards.
