Zwenkauer Lake

By bus, train and co. to the lakes
Combine your trip with a nice bike tour. And for all those who don't like sports - don't worry, you'll be doing part of the tour by bus. So: pack your picnic basket, put on your helmet and off you go! The tour begins with the journey to the "Probstheida, Wendestelle" stop. After loading up the bikes and boarding bus 141, the first thing to do is sit back and relax and enjoy the foretaste of the tour through the bus window. Then "Gestewitz, Ort”, unload the bikes and head west/ Haubitzer and Hainer See start. Along the southern shores of Haubitzer and Hainer Lake you can make good progress to Kahnsdorfer Lake. At the most beautiful spot it is worth taking a break with a picnic and a view of the lake. Refreshed, you start north to Störmthaler See, to explore its eastern shore and stop for a swim at a suitable spot. Then saddle up again and continue the tour along the northern shore of the Störmthaler Lake. Once you arrive in Auenhain, turn onto Bornaer Chaussee. This road leads after about 30 km back to the starting point in Probstheida.
