The 13 most original hotels in and around Leipzig

Vienna House Easy Leipzig

The Vienna House hotel chain offers accommodation in several European cities. In July 2018, the Vienna House Easy also opened its doors in Leipzig. But if you think a chain means bland uniformity, think again! For one thing, Vienna  House  Leipzig offers suites that are anything but conventional. Yoga, boxing, golf and table tennis are all on the programme and the rooms also reflect this sporting theme. Would you like to do your morning yoga? Not a problem in the Vienna House! The Yoga Suite is perfectly equipped with a yoga mat, yoga guide and plenty of space. The hotel in Leipzig also has a special offer for families. A separate kids' room with a bunk bed and  ball pool invites guests to enjoy a relaxing family vacation right in the city centre.

Master Rooms in the Spinnerei (former cotton mill)

If, among the many wonderful hotels in Leipzig, you decide on a night in the Master Rooms, you will sleep right next door to Neo Rauch and other greats of the art world. Over 100 artists have their studios in the old cotton mill. The majority of Leipzig's galleries are also located here. You can choose from four different sizes of rooms, all with industrial charm. The largest of the rooms used to be the ladies' washroom in the cotton mill and provides beds for up to six guests. If the atmosphere inspires your own creativity, you can find a small workshop and a mini library with catalogues from Leipzig artists. The former industrial site is also a perfect departure point for bicycle, hiking and boat tours in the area. Prices start at €100 per night to dream under the high ceilings of what used to be an industrial warehouse.
