Award-winning restaurant at The Westin Hotel Leipzig
The Gourmet Restaurant FALCO is on the top floor of The Westin Leipzig. The hotel, built in 1981 in the centre of Leipzig, is directly next to the main railway station and the Leipzig Zoo. It has a total of 436 modern rooms and suites with free high-speed Internet on 27 floors.
At FALCO you can enjoy not only Peter Maria Schnurr's Cuisine passione légère, but also a breathtaking view of Leipzig's city centre. The restaurant is characterised by its elegant modern ambience, excellent service and seasonal menu with fresh ingredients daily. In 2007, FALCO was awarded its first Michelin Guide star, and in 2009 it received its second Michelin star.
The gourmet restaurant is named after a pair of falcons that nested on the Westin Leipzig's roof during the establishment's construction. In fact, construction had to be suspended until the baby falcons were able to fly. Even today falcons nest on the 27th floor of the hotel
