Experience design in Leipzig – Designers' Open and GRASSI FAIR
Every October, the trade fair city of Leipzig becomes the centre of the design world. More than 300 national and international designers, labels and architects presented tomorrow's trends. Studios, concept stores and creative quarters were not the only focal points for this festival – the Congress Centre at the Leipzig Zoo and the GRASSI Museum of Applied Arts were just important. The Designers' Open is a trade fair and a design festivals rolled into one. As an exhibition, communication and sales platform for interior, fashion, industrial and communication design, it speaks to both industry professionals and the general public. Special exhibits, specialist presentations and film documentaries neatly round out what the Designers' Open has to offer.
