Music is always a mixture of tradition and zeitgeist. Especially in Leipzig. For over 800 years, Leipzig has breathed music and celebrates its musicians with festivals every year. The Trade Fair City of Leipzig will be hosting some of the world's best music festivals before 2023, making it a Mecca for classical music fans once again. The focus is on Johann Sebastian Bach, Gustav Mahler, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy and Richard Wagner.
