The "KarLi" - the trendiest street in the south of Leipzig

A cyclist rides along the trendy Karl-Liebknecht-Straße, also known as Karli, which has many bars and restaurants with outdoor seating, nightlife and gastronomy in Leipzig.

The KarLi is located in the alternative student district, the Leipzig Südvorstadt, and is one of Leipzig's best-known streets. In the early nineties, the squatter scene and club culture merged here.

Nowadays, its distinguishing feature is the network of culture and international gastronomy, which you can enjoy in the numerous outdoor seating areas, especially during the summer months. The "Löffelfamilie" at the Feinkostgelände, the house designed by Fischer-Art (No. 43), the naTo and many more venues are among the places worth seeing along the KarLi.
