Public Transport in Leipzig
The Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe (LVB) is a City of Leipzig municipal company and operates local public transport (tram, light rail and bus services). The LVB network is integrated into the Central German Transport Association (MDV).
For visitors to Leipzig, public transport companies offer flexible ticket options. Combination tickets, which serve as admission tickets to the zoo, and a separate tram city tour are also available. With the "Great Leipzig City Tour" or, if the weather is nice, the "Open Leipzig City Tour" you will travel through the most interesting districts of Leipzig on the extensive public transportation network. The 2-hour tour runs on Saturdays at 11 am and 2 pm year round and from May to September on Sundays at 11 am as well.

Prices
LEIPZIG CARD: Free travel on all regional and suburban rail services, trams and buses within the city limits (Travel Zone 110). One-day Leipzig Cards are valid from 9 am until 4 am the following day. Three-day Leipzig Cards for individuals and groups are valid from 9 am on the first day until 12 midnight at the
end of the third day.
LEIPZIG REGIO CARD: Free travel on all lines of MDV (the central German Transport Network), including tram, buses, city trains (S-Bahn) and commuter trains (RE, RB, MRB) with the classic version as well as with the premium version from the first day of validity 9 am.
