Liebfrauenkirche (Church of Our Lady)
Catholic parish Liebfrauen in Leipzig-Lindenau
The Catholic Church of Our Lady was built in 1907/1908, whereby the neo-Romanesque style emerged from the designs of the Leipzig architect Anton Käppler. Since 1931, a branch of the oratory has been based in western Leipzig. Further structural changes in the interior of the church ensured an adaptation to the liturgical movement in order to deepen the understanding of church services. The Church of Our Lady near the Leipzig-Plagwitz S-Bahn station is also a venue for the Leipzig Jazztage.
