On the upper floor of the city estate you will find the exhibition on the Leisnig caste system, Leisnigchurch music and the town history of Leisnig.
In 2013, extensive refurbishment of the historic building in the heart of the city was completed. After decades of work, the breath-taking interior design was restored and reconstructed. In addition to the historically valuable exhibits, you will find large boards with more information about: Martin Luther and the Reformation in Saxony, Citizenship and piety around 1500, Monastic books - monastic life and significance for the city of Leisnig, Leisnig Cantors and information on the restoration of the upper floor.
