Various exhibitions inform guests about geological epochs, the development of cultural landscapes and the habitats of Northwest Saxony. Staff and museum educators impart extensive knowledge of nature and the environment, especially to children and young people.
The permanent exhibition is currently only open to individual visitors at weekends, on public holidays and during school holidays. During the week, it is reserved for museum educational activities and groups. Groups are welcome to register by telephone.
The exhibitions in the Museum of Natural History are also designed for children.
