At the St. Thomas Church Square
The Saxon Pharmacy Museum in the former Central Pharmacy at the St. Thomas Church Square was opened in 1999 on the initiative of the Saxon Pharmacists' Association.
In total, the museum houses around 1,000 historical exhibits, including objects such as medicines, vessels, equipment, packaging, documents, books and letters. The Central Pharmacy was founded in 1836 by the pharmacist Adolph Täschner as the Homeopathic Central Office.
