Travelling with a visual impairment

 

There is also plenty on offer for visitors with impaired vision. Some museums provide audio guides and brochures written in braille.

One such example is the Schauspiel Leipzig. It was awarded the Mosaik Inclusion Prize for Central Germany and the honorary prize of the Saxon Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Once a month, there is a performance with live audio description. Before each of these performances, Schauspiel Leipzig offers a tactile guided tour of the stage to feel the props and costumes.
