School trip to Leipzig and the region

The A&O Hostel is located in the former Reichspost building directly on the east side of Leipzig Central Station, making it the perfect starting point for a class trip. Students are accommodated in modern 4- to 6-bed rooms. Teachers have extra single or double rooms available. 3 conference rooms can be used free of charge as a place to study and meet!

The Multitude Hostel, awarded the title of "Best Hostel Germany 2019", is located in the trendy Lindenau district in western Leipzig. Not far from Karl-Heine-Straße, you can explore the trendy scene in just a few minutes or go for a paddle on the Karl-Heine Canal. The cozy bunks in the stylish and modern furnished shared rooms offer the perfect place to end the day in a relaxed manner.

The DJH Leipzig Youth Hostel is located in the east of Leipzig, not far from the city center. The youth hostel has 170 rooms with two to four beds each, a club room, an international games room, and a TV and table tennis room.

Stay in one of the largest Renaissance castles in Saxony and enjoy the flair of the Zwickauer Mulde. The youth hostel, which opened in 2007, has 34 rooms with 171 beds and a private bathroom. There is also a large selection of conference rooms, a terrace and a barbecue area. There are also numerous leisure facilities such as a disco room, a reading room, a games room and a table tennis room. The reception provides free Wi-Fi in all public areas.

The Sleepy Lion Hostel is located near the zoo and is another affordable and central accommodation option for a school trip. The various shared rooms are all equipped with their own bathroom and WiFi, making them the perfect place for an exciting time in Leipzig.

The Hostel Platsch in Oschatz is located directly in the Platsch leisure facility and has been offering comfortable overnight accommodation for a total of 2024 guests since 30. The modern accommodation offers three air-conditioned comfort rooms with double beds, as well as six hostel rooms, each with two bunk beds. All rooms have their own bathroom with shower and toilet.

As part of the leisure facility, the hostel offers direct access to a variety of activities such as a swimming pool with sauna village, a bowling alley and the in-house restaurant "silhOuette".

The European Youth Camp is a bungalow complex in the middle of Oschatz's city area, but still in the countryside. The 6 bungalows can accommodate up to 44 guests and are each equipped with 6 beds, a seating area, private bathroom and built-in wardrobes.

There is also a communal kitchen, a barbecue area, a training room and various leisure activities such as table tennis, darts, billiards or table football.

The O-Schatz-Park and the "Plantsch" leisure pool are nearby.

The GRONERS Hostel on Katharinenstraße impresses with its central location and offers space for around 120 guests. Each room is equipped with a private bathroom, TV and free WiFi. A co-working area and an urban roof garden invite you to have a good time together.

The youth hostel with 122 beds is located in the immediate vicinity of Hartenfels Castle with its castle church, consecrated by Martin Luther, and the famous Wendelstein, a cantilevered spiral staircase that is considered an architectural masterpiece of the Renaissance.

The Elbe cycle path between the old town and the Elbe runs almost directly past the youth hostel. Thanks to its central location in the historic city centre, cultural and gastronomic establishments can be reached in just a few minutes on foot.

The Reibitz school camp is located north of the "Dübener Heide" nature reserve and is about 12 km from Delitzsch and Bad Düben. Guests can stay in 6 bungalows with various multi-bed rooms. The site also offers 3 classrooms, a wooden house for craft projects and a large communal kitchen.

In the summer months, a swimming pond in the immediate vicinity beckons visitors to cool off. In addition to the museum barn, a large adventure playground, a campfire site and a nature trail offer varied leisure activities.

The main building of the Olganitz school camp offers a total of 64 beds in shared or family rooms. In addition, a barbecue area with a campfire site, a bowling alley, a football pitch, table tennis tables and a beach volleyball court ensure plenty of variety during the school trip.

The bungalow village has 16 bungalows for 4-6 people each. All buildings are equipped with a private bathroom and a kitchenette.

The Leipzig Naturfreundehaus Grethen offers an inviting combination of comfort and adventure opportunities in the middle of an idyllic natural landscape and is therefore an ideal accommodation for young groups and families. Divided into a family guest house and a youth guest house, it offers space for around 83 people. There are also three tepee tents for overnight stays, as well as a dining room and three seminar rooms.

For outdoor fans, there is a volleyball court, a football pitch, table tennis tables and an adventure playground. Those who prefer something more adventurous can use the rope course or the climbing facility. In the evenings, barbecue and campfire sites tempt you to spend some sociable hours in the open air.
