A pre-Christmas land of plenty awaits visitors from December 5th to 7th, 2025 at the Delitzsch Advent Market. Experience the magic of the pre-Christmas period on the market square of the Loberstadt. International culinary delights, handicrafts and a varied family program ensure an Advent weekend to enjoy. Specialties such as Trdelník, macarons, Salzwedeler Baumkuchen, Nougat de Montélimar, Poffertjes, fudge, flame-grilled salmon and Lángos await guests at more than 80 stands.
Amidst the festive atmosphere of the lavishly illuminated market square, glassblowers, ceramicists, woodworkers, fashion makers, and basket makers, among others, present their unique handcrafted items and intricate works. Christmas tree decorations, Christmas pyramids, camel milk chocolate, handmade soaps, and more can be admired in the weather-protected indoor area of the "Markt Zwanzig" event center. Carousel and train rides, as well as the wooden mobile play area, will keep children's eyes light up on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
