In the cellar of the Baroque Delitzsch Castle, the sound vault, with its special collection of sound instruments, invites visitors to contemplation and relaxation.
In the historic cellar of Delitzsch Baroque Castle, the Klanggewölbe Delitzsch e.V. (Delitzsch Sound Vault Association) presents an extensive collection of singing bowls, gongs, and other sonic rarities. A particular highlight is the 160 cm tall sun gong "Kosmos," which, alongside a Bechstein concert grand piano (432 Hz), forms the centerpiece of the exhibition. Sixty-minute sound baths are offered every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Sound Vault. Take advantage of this opportunity to experience the unique atmosphere. Advance registration is required! Furthermore, individual and group sound experiences, concerts, discussion groups, programs for students, and private tours are available upon request. Volunteer members of the association guide visitors through the world of sound, explaining the exhibits and enabling them to experience sound firsthand in the special ambiance of the castle cellar.
