The 161st Döbeln Christmas Market will delight visitors from near and far again this year. Around the lovingly decorated Lower and Upper Market Squares, delicacies, fire bowls, and festively decorated stalls invite visitors to stroll and enjoy themselves. A living nativity scene and the star forest create a special Advent atmosphere and illuminate the historic town center with warm lights.
A varied music and entertainment program will be offered on two stages – including the popular "Döbeln Sings" program, which invites you to sing along to Christmas tunes. Families will especially enjoy the Christmas play featuring Irinuschka, the Snowflake, and Santa Claus. Santa Claus will also take time to listen to children's wishes during his office hours.
The City Museum in the town hall tower also offers a special highlight: There, the Chemnitz model building team presents a lovingly designed Christmas exhibition from Playmobil worlds.
