The hit show will enter its next round in autumn 2025.

Due to popular demand, the popular football talk show will embark on another major tour of Germany starting in autumn 2025. A total of 27 cities are on the schedule until the end of May. This time, the cult format will once again feature many interesting celebrity guests from the world of football and entertainment. Regional connections play a significant role in the tour through Germany – a local hero will be present in each city. Sports presenter Thomas Helmer and expert Mario Basler are regular team members. Visitors can expect an entertaining and unforgettable evening centered around the world's most beautiful game.

“Doppelpass on Tour,” the event series for Germany’s number one football talk show, was organized by Sport1 GmbH in cooperation with the event agency S-Promotion Event GmbH starting in 2021. The team, led by former FC Bayern Munich captain Thomas Helmer, includes the opinionated and regular guest Mario Basler, European Champion of 1996 and former professional player for Bayern Munich, Werder Bremen, and 1. FC Kaiserslautern.

In typical "Doppelpass" style – complete with the famous phrase-mongering piggy bank – Thomas Helmer, who currently hosts "Fantalk" on SPORT1, welcomes prominent guests from the world of football and entertainment at each stop, often with a regional connection to the venue. In the approximately two-hour interactive stage show, he chats passionately and affectionately with them about the world's most beautiful game – and naturally involves the audience in the discussion: from nostalgic stories to the latest hotly debated topics that concern the football-mad nation with its reported 83 million national team coaches.
