The Donat organ in Brandis Town Church was built in 1705, making it the oldest surviving two-manual organ in the Free State of Saxony. After the first phase of restoration was completed in 2007, it is now being restored to its original, expansive facade. The instrument's layout is also being restored to its original state, allowing this important monument of Saxon organ building to once again shine in its full glory.
