The Christmas season in Grimma enchants with festive lights, fragrant delicacies, and over 30 lovingly decorated stalls set against the impressive backdrop of the historic Renaissance gable of the town hall. A colorful stage program, the lovingly designed fairytale forest, and the miniature Muldental Railway ensure happy faces for guests of all ages. In "Grandma Helga's Alpine Hut," crafts are made, games are played, and celebrations are held together. Highlights include the Stollen Awards on November 30th, the historic market in the monastery church, and the model railway exhibition and arts and crafts market in the town hall on the second weekend of Advent.
