Karolina Trybala & Robert Weinkauf

Four times a year, the Leipziger Liederszene eV invites you to a very special event. At the Leipziger Liederladen, two musicians who have shaped, and continue to shape, the Leipzig music scene in their own way meet under the charming moderators of Robert Weinkauf and Judith von Hiller. This event reveals how rich the Leipzig music scene was even before the Peaceful Revolution of 1989, what we draw from this wealth today, and what we can rediscover in it today. An evening in which the past and future of the Leipzig song scene lovingly intertwine. Guests in May are...

Karolina Trybala: Sometimes she sounds wistful and tender, then fiery and sly. Those who listen to her experience more than just a gifted singer. They experience Karolina Trybala: a woman in the here and now – with heart, mind, and humor, who fascinatingly combines tradition and modernity. https://www.karolina-trybala.com/

Robert Weinkauf: The singer of medieval music from Gregorian chant to Minnesang in various ensembles such as "IOCULATORES" and "montalbâne Ensemble", rhythm guitarist and author in the chamber beat trio THE BUT, as well as event organizer at Goseck Castle, sets female poetry from the 19th century to music in his current project "The Last Song" in a poetic, varied way, listening carefully and creating touching gems https://robertweinkauf.bandcamp.com/
