On March 12 and 13, 2026, the Helios Leipzig location will host the inaugural Leipzig Nursing Training Course. This new, supra-regional training format is aimed at nursing professionals from all specialties in Central Germany. The event addresses current trends, specialist topics, and practical requirements – with the goal of imparting nursing knowledge at the highest level and promoting interdisciplinary exchange.
The program spans two days: While Thursday focuses on conveying theoretical aspects and new knowledge, Friday highlights practical application scenarios.
The Leipzig Nursing Continuing Education program builds upon the existing Nursing Continuing Education Day, which in recent years has been held concurrently with the Cardiovascular Spring Conference at the Leipzig Heart Center. This successful concept is now being expanded into an independent, two-day event. While the event will continue to take place in the lecture hall at the Helios Leipzig location, it will explicitly focus on nursing topics from a wide range of medical specialties.
