MONET'S CATHEDRAL - Panometer Leipzig

With "MONET'S CATHEDRAL," Berlin artist Yadegar Asisi has created a unique 360° panorama, first created as a large-format oil painting in his studio and then digitized. The 32-meter-high, 3.500-square-meter panorama immerses visitors in 19th-century France and impressively showcases the magic of Impressionism: brushstrokes, paint application, and canvas texture come alive and are almost three-dimensional.
Inspired by Claude Monet's famous cathedral series, Asisi impressively reconstructs the atmosphere and architecture of Rouen's historic cityscape. The experience is complemented by an extensive accompanying exhibition featuring over 100 of Asisi's works, bringing his artistic development to life in the interplay of painting, craftsmanship, and modern technology.
