Philipp Fleiter will be going on an earwitness tour again in 2025 with his successful podcast “Crimes from next door”
For six years now, Philipp Fleiter has been one of Germany's most successful podcasters with "Verbrechen von nebenan". His true crime format has several million views every month. Fleiter's current Ohrenzeugen tour 2024 through Germany and Austria is completely sold out. There is good news for all fans who couldn't be there live. "The tour is a gift for my fans," explains the podcaster, "that's why I named it after them - the Earwitness Tour." On stage, Fleiter talks about an exciting real-life crime case that gives the audience the feeling of helping to investigate. Fleiter says: "The interaction with the people in front of the stage is incredibly important to me. I don't just want to read out a case, I want to involve my fans in the show and spend a great evening with them despite the topic of crime."
Philipp Fleiter was born in East Westphalia and as a child he wanted to host "Wetten, dass ..?" Instead, he studied education and psychology and worked as a radio journalist and presenter after graduating. In 2019 he started the podcast "Verbrechen von nebenan", which quickly became one of the most successful German podcasts. At SKY, Fleiter hosted his own television adaptation of his format. His books, published in 2021 and 2023, both landed on the SPIEGEL bestseller list immediately after their publication. As an expert on crime, Philipp Fleiter is a welcome guest on TV and other podcasts. He lives in Gütersloh.
