In the small Breton town of Paimpont, the residents place particular value on community. Despite all their differences, everyone is united by their pride in precisely this solidarity and willingness to help. With great approval, the community decides to take in a refugee family from Ukraine. But when the Syrian Fayad family arrives instead, it provokes unexpected reactions. The self-proclaimed cosmopolitan citizens suddenly face a challenge that tests their beliefs.
