The Blueslounge with Turning Wheelz
is usually a jam session with an announcement and a constantly changing line-up. Musicians of various styles who otherwise rarely or never appear together on stage are persuaded to take part. At least a week beforehand, when the last person has been persuaded, everyone receives an agreed selection of songs. Due to the general lack of time, a rehearsal is dispensed with. Previous agreements are made. The song selection tries to do justice to the invited musical guests and their respect for one another. The musical evening is therefore always different. The Turning Wheelz basic structure is Tobias Deutsch on the piano, Maria Schüritz on the microphone (front or background, depending on the invited guests) and Edmund Adler on the accompanying electric guitar. From the second round onwards there is always the opportunity to play together with guests from the audience, who are also welcome to find out about the songs in advance from Turning Wheelz and even have them scheduled. So you can be surprised every 3rd Thursday of the month at Tonellis.
