With the probably most famous lines of "O Fortuna", the choir of the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University of Music and Theatre in Leipzig turns the wheel of time. At this year's castle concerts, the Saxon Wind Philharmonic Orchestra at Brandis Castle and Hartenfels Castle in Torgau will present Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana", one of the most famous and most popular choral works.
Under the direction of chief conductor Peter Sommerer and with the internationally top-class singers Jennifer Riedel (soprano), Sven Hjörleiffson (tenor) and Roman Trekel (baritone) as well as the choir of the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University of Music and Theatre and the MDR Children's Choir, you will experience an unforgettable concert in front of an impressive backdrop.
