Castle and Old Town Festival
On the last weekend of August, the town of Leisnig once again transforms into a festival mile. From August 28th to 30st, the traditional Castle and Old Town Festival takes place! The area from the church square to the Burglehn enchants guests as a medieval settlement with traditional crafts, culinary delights, and cultural activities.
The stages on the church and tavern squares promise a varied program for all ages and a perfect mix of artists, dancers, and musicians. As every year, the Leisnig Boot Watch presents the world's largest top-boot; the historic town guard ensures order during the festival and the maintenance of peace.
