Under the theme "Töff Töff und whirr – Ringelnatz and the Wonderland of Technology," a quote from the book "Flugzeuggedanken," the 24th Ringelnatz Summer brings together approximately 30 different cultural artists for a city-wide festival featuring readings, concerts, tours, and lectures. At the historic industrial site of Wurzen, most of the festival's events explore the reception of technological change by artists of the past and present.
Together with representatives of the city of Wurzen and the Joachim Ringelnatz Association, this year's patron poet Martina Hefter will open the Ringelnatz Summer on the terrace of the Ringelnatz birthplace at Crostigall 14. All guests are then invited to toast the opening at a reception in the hall on the ground floor of the Ringelnatz birthplace.
Note: Seating on the terrace is limited and some seats are reserved for invited guests.
