What is it about?
In a competition, children, young people, and adults are invited to artistically realize and design their vision of Bad Düben in the future and/or the landscape of the Düben Heath. There are no limits to creativity. Participants can paint, craft, and create other types of artwork. Collages, paintings, ceramics, and handicrafts are acceptable. There are no restrictions regarding the size of the objects.
The important thing is that it must be recognizable: "This is how I imagine Bad Düben or the landscape surrounding the town in the future." It shouldn't matter how broadly defined "future" is for the individual.
The self-designed objects can be submitted until July 20, 2025, to the Landscape Museum of the Düben Heath, Burg Düben, Neuhofstraße 3.
After the acceptance period has ended, a jury will select the 20 best objects, which will then be presented to the general public for several weeks starting on September 2025, 21.09.2025, in a special exhibition opening in September XNUMX.
Who can participate? What else is important?
Private individuals, children, young people, clubs, school classes, or schools, among others, with a collaborative project. In addition to the object, the submission should include the name and age of the person(s) involved, their contact details, and their thoughts and explanations about the object.
