Katrin Weber "Unbelievable"
On tour with new solo program and debut album "I'd love to address you formally again"
Musical accompaniment: Rainer Vothel
It's no bold statement: If you don't know them yet, it's your own fault!
The "whole" Weber, however, only appears in her solo performances. Here, the audience gets to know all her facets and her wonderful versatility, and simply falls in love with her: comedic, musical, and occasionally acrobatic. And always recognizable: Katrin Weber.
Subtle humor alternates with crude slapstick, diva-like vulnerability with almost boyish moments.
Katrin Weber moves and seduces, sighs, whispers and drinks, calmly parries (the world of men) and boisterously parodies, sometimes even herself, and thus remains in her own way simply unknowable.
Her new solo program was long awaited. Her first solo CD, "Ich würd Dich gerne wieder Siezen," was rather unexpected. Produced by Tobias Künzel, one of the masterminds of the "Prinzen," the result is exquisite cabaret pop, combining all her strengths with previously unknown aspects of her.
Of course, there are also samples of this in the new, second solo program
"Unbelievable."
Conclusion: Entertainment – top-notch, cabaret – packaged in a large format.
