The Leipzig Christmas market extends over the entire city center;

 On Augustusplatz, the Finnish Village invites you to a Scandinavian Christmas with freshly prepared flamed salmon, spicy glögi and Nordic crafts. The South Tyrolean village also offers hearty specialties such as Schüttelbrot, Kaminwurzen and aromatic mulled wine.
A highlight for families is the fairytale forest in front of the opera house with magical adventure stations for children. From the Ferris wheel, young and old can enjoy a unique view over the festively illuminated city.
