Fantastic inventor (not only) of the time machine: HG Wells – A conversation about the author of science fiction, fantasy and world-saving plans
HG Wells (Herbert George Wells) not only wrote the first story about time machines traveling into the past and the distant future, but also explored material that became important for film and science fiction in the 20th and 21st centuries: alien attacks, the fourth dimension, invisibility, genetic manipulation, and nuclear wars. Who was this immensely productive and often prophetic author, and what impact did he have on literature and beyond?
