In 1950, Bach's sarcophagus was transferred to the choir of St. Thomas Church on the 200th anniversary of his death. In 2025, a festive organ concert will be held in Leipzig's St. Nicholas Church to commemorate the composer - a tribute to his immortal musical legacy.
