Summer cabaret academixer in Zoo Leipzig – Manja & the Early Bird

Manja has a dream! Basic rights for animals! Self-determination for the woolly sheep! Freedom for the Friesennerz! And to live this dream, she moved from the city center to the rural outskirts. Every day she rides the 17 km to her workplace on her cargo bike, brakes for every insect and is always on time.

Manja works in the zoo's catering department and experiences the ups and downs of emotions every day. Her boss Ronnie is an idiot. No understanding for Manja's dream. Why are the poor animals kept in the zoo?! The really nasty creatures belong behind bars! The real estate shark who has no apartment for them. The bureaucratic bureaucrat who refuses to give her a place in the daycare.

Many people think Manja is crazy. That's right! A chicken. And that's called Hilde. Maybe that's how it all started. And maybe Sven can help her. The shy philosopher with the oat milk beard. Maybe the two of them can save the world, or at least the Friesennerz.

The academixer's wonderful summer fun for everyone who likes weird people. Those who are up for comedy as well as cabaret in its most playful form. Those who have a lust for laughing and enjoying the summer.
