In this workshop, I'll introduce you to the fluffy world of tufting. In approximately 4 hours, I'll explain the principles and basic techniques of tufting, and then you'll create a wall hanging. (You'll finish the backing on-site and can take your finished rug home with you immediately.)
After booking, I will contact you to discuss your desired design. On the day of the workshop, it will already be drawn onto the fabric so you can start immediately.
Now that I've explained the basic tufting techniques, you can get started right away. Once you've filled your design with color and fluffiness, we move on to the next step: trimming and carving. This involves using a trimmer to shape the front of the rug.
Finally, you finish the back of the rug and can take it with you immediately.
Throughout the entire workshop, I will be there to help and advise you and share my know-how so that you can achieve your best possible result while having fun.
All the materials you need are included in the price.
In addition, water (sparkling & still) and snacks are available on site as brain food.
The workshop must be booked in advance and is suitable for a maximum of 8 participants.
The minimum age for the workshop is 16 years.
