Christmas scent and glittering lights at Gohlis Castle

Christmas Market

During Advent, a successful alternative to the classic Christmas market is created in the late Baroque ambience of the Gohlis Castle.
The event deliberately avoids stalls and instead creates a contemplative space for enjoyment and culture in the atmospherically lit baroque garden of the listed ensemble.
Visitors enjoy homemade waffles, roasted almonds, homemade mulled wine, and punch. A select cultural program with choral music, Advent carol singing, and tower brass bands, as well as a small exhibition of regional handicrafts, rounds out the offerings.

The dates for 2026 are subject to change.
