CITY CYCLING Leipzig

Who cycles the most – in Germany, Saxony, or Leipzig? To find out, from May to September, over a million people in thousands of municipalities get on their bikes and compete against each other in the world's largest cycling competition: STADTRADELN!
In 2026, we Leipzigers can once again pedal together for more climate protection and safer cycling: The STADTRADELN (City Cycling) campaign will take place in Leipzig from August 28th to September 17th.
