A portrait of what is arguably the city's most diverse neighborhood. Filmmaker Birk Poßecker spent three years collecting stories from Leipzig's east side. Amidst bars, apartments, community centers, vacant lots, and cultural venues, a wide range of people have their say, revealing the fault lines of a neighborhood in transition: displacement, inequality, and racism. Thanks to VHS recordings, historical and contemporary footage blend seamlessly into timeless, retro-style images.
