Family/children
The Leipzig Christmas market on the market square delights visitors every year from the end of November to December 23rd with around 250 to 300 festively decorated stalls.
At the center of the Leipzig Christmas market is the traditional Christmas tree, which illuminates the square with festive festive lights. A varied program with Santa Claus talks and musical performances creates a festive atmosphere. A special highlight is the daily trumpet sound from the balcony of the Old Town Hall.
In addition to delicious specialties and all kinds of handicrafts, the surrounding markets and streets of the historic old town also invite you to take a stroll.
