Midsummer picnic concert with Fjarill – 775 years of Borna

In their program “Midsommar”, the Swedish pianist and singer Aino Löwenmark and the South African violinist Hanmari Spiegel transport the audience into the sound world of Scandinavian midsummer festivals – with original compositions, Swedish poems set to music and traditional folk songs.

A lovingly designed supporting program awaits guests starting at 16:00 pm:
Weaving flower wreaths with the Borna city garden, a nature workshop with creative Midsummer activities, and a stall with handcrafted candles, herbs, and incense. A communal Midsummer ritual around the fire invites you to pause and consciously experience the abundance of the year.
