Jeanette Mundt – PUBLIC AND BEYOND JUDGMENT

From June 12 to October 4, 2026, the G2 Kunsthalle in Leipzig presents the exhibition "PUBLIC AND BEYOND JUDGMENT" by New York-based painter Jeanette Mundt. This is the artist's first institutional solo exhibition in Germany. In her works, Jeanette Mundt combines elements of pop culture with classical art history and personal motifs. She consciously avoids a rigid, uniform style, instead relying on a dynamic visual exploration. A particular highlight of the show is a wall-sized, site-specific painting that the artist will create directly on-site in the exhibition spaces. The G2 Kunsthalle is located at Dittrichring 13 in 04109 Leipzig. Art enthusiasts can visit the exhibition Wednesdays from 15 pm to 20 pm and Fridays through Sundays from 12 pm to 17 pm. Guided tours are also available; prior online registration is required.
