Tufting Workshop

Tufting is arguably the hottest handcrafting technique of the year and is rightfully capturing the hearts of the design community. The cozy fringes in bright colors transform everyday objects like mirrors, seat cushions, or pillows into true design objects.

This is what you can expect in the course:

To save you time, we'll stretch your chosen design onto the frame in advance. This way, you can get started right away and try your hand at using the tufting gun. After an engaging introduction, we'll support you with your first exercises and show you the essentials. Depending on the workshop option, your custom rug can be up to 75cm in size and will be made from high-quality pure wool. You can, of course, choose the colors yourself from our extensive range. We're also happy to help and support you through every step of the design process. Together, we'll glue the backing of your rug and let the adhesive dry overnight. On day two, we'll introduce you to using scissors and trimmers and show you how to prepare your rug for its arrival in your home.

Please note: We offer two different courses for tufting. If you'd like to tuft a small rug, our 1-day workshop (5 hours) is perfect for you. For a real in-depth experience, we offer a 2-day course. This takes place over two consecutive days (Saturday and Sunday, from 10 am to 3 pm).
