Just as coffee has a firm place in the culture of the "Coffee Saxons", desserts and cakes also belong on the plates here.

The most famous sweet pastry is the Leipziger Lerche − a small shortcrust pastry basket filled with a dollop of jam and marzipan and the typical cross made of strips of dough. The term Leipziger Lerche has been protected since 2004 and may only be used by authorized companies. If you have heard of "Original Leipziger Lerche" then go ahead and grab it.

Particularly recommended are the larks from the bakery Kleinert, which has been the Leipzig baking tradition When you visit the bakery, feel free to ask about the History the Leipzig lark − you will be amazed.

Today it is brewed and drunk in the Gosenschenke in the Bavarian Station or in the Gosenschenke "Ohne Bedenken"But there are also classic breweries in Leipzig and the region. These brew individual and distinctive beers using original raw materials and modern brewing methods. In Leipzig, you can also experience the art of brewing in the Leipzig Ratskeller .

However, the alcohol content is much higher in the Wilhelm Horn Spirituosen Manufaktur in which, in addition to the traditional Allasch-herbal and aronia liqueurs to  Gins and  APPETISERS Lovers of fine spirits, liqueurs or brandies should also definitely check out the small but fine Fuchs Spirituosen Manufaktur in Delitzsch. Wooden toys for big and small

Holz Liebe - the brand not only contains the name of the entrepreneurial family, but also the philosophy of the company: love for the product, for the material and for the detail.
